New Zealand

After the visual gridlock of Chinatown, New Zealand was a breath of fresh air. The grandeur of nature as well as the quirky signs of civilization (such as road signs and telephone poles) that exist within the Tararua Mountain range inspired me. While in New Zealand I tried to capture all of the elements and I had my first experience painting in the rain here.
